Ten basic ingredients are what it takes to help Girls Inc. Grow a Great Girl. Ingredients #3: Support their interests. Provide girls with many opportunities to explore interests and activities. $1,000 will provide a summer scholarship for 10 weeks. -

Ten basic ingredients are what it takes to help Girls Inc. Grow a Great Girl. Ingredient #4: Encourage girls to speak up and speak out. Teach girls to channel their energy and emotions into positive action. $500 will fund election materials.

is a local affiliate of a national nonprofit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold. Girls Inc. fulfills its mission of empowering girls aged five and up to be self-confident, responsible and well-rounded individuals by delivering research-based, age-appropriate, after-school and summer educational and sports programs designed specifically for girls.
